Syllabus & Examination at Green Hills Modern School

At Green Hills Modern School, the syllabus is based on the guidelines prescribed by NCERT and SCERT, and the school follows the Tripura Board of Secondary Education (TBSE) framework. Our academic structure and examination system are designed to ensure continuous learning, fair evaluation, and overall student development.

Academic Session & Examination Schedule

The academic year is divided into two terms:

Each term includes class tests, project work, oral activities, and written exams, ensuring both theoretical understanding and practical application of concepts.

Examination System:

• Periodic Test–I (PT–I) – Conducted during the first term
• Half-Yearly Examination – Concludes the first term
• Periodic Test–II (PT–II) – Conducted during the second term
• Annual Examination – Marks the end of the academic session

Students must maintain regular attendance and consistent performance throughout the year. Promotion to the next class is based on cumulative performance in both terms.

Grading System (As per CBSE Guidelines)

Note: Students must secure a minimum grade of ‘D’ to be declared “Pass” in each subject.
